🎥 À l’ARVO 2026, j’ai interviewé SriniVas R. Sadda sur un sujet devenu central en OCT : le SHRM (Subretinal HyperReflective Material).
Le message est clair : le SHRM n’est pas un simple “détail d’imagerie”.
➡️ Plus il persiste, plus le pronostic visuel se dégrade.
➡️ Il faut le rechercher sur chaque OCT.
➡️ Et probablement traiter plus tôt, plus complètement… et plus agressivement.
Autre point fort présenté : le faricimab montre une résolution du SHRM plus rapide et plus importante que l’aflibercept 2 mg dans les données présentées à ARVO.

🎥 At ARVO 2026, I interviewed SriniVas R. Sadda about a topic becoming increasingly important in OCT imaging: SHRM (Subretinal HyperReflective Material).
The message is clear: SHRM is not just an imaging detail.
➡️ The longer it persists, the worse the visual prognosis.
➡️ We should actively look for it on every OCT.
➡️ And probably treat earlier, more completely, and more aggressively.
Another key point from the presentation: faricimab demonstrated a faster and greater SHRM resolution compared with aflibercept 2 mg in the ARVO data presented.
